Supergirl - DVD podBLAST

What is the best thing about Supergirl? It's our 50th BLAST, that's what!

So instead of writing about some crappy movie that should probably be called Suckergirl or Superdouche, let's instead focus on the positive.

DVD podBLAST. 50th. Wow. That is a lot of stank. In fact, if you could make a pile of all the stank that these 50 movies have unleashed on the world, you would have... well, a lot. Like, "Call Al Gore" a lot.

And you know what? Supergirl would be the cherry on top.

The stinking, putrid cherry.

By my count this is your 49th blast because PEARL HARBOR counts as one blast you slackers!

For the record, Pearl Harbor should count as 4 or 5.

If you're counting from the "BLAST" page on the site... yeah, it looks like there's a couple missing... working on it.

This is #50, though.

References to Adam Bomb and Johnny Polo? Did I hear that right? Geez, I thought I was the only person who remembered those gimmicks.

When I woke up today, I had no intention of leaving the house. It was a gaming day. Dreary as shit outside, fuck-all on the TV, no other obligations.

But because you jackasses kept name-dropping A&W, I got to cravin' it. And now? Now I am nursing a tall, cold, delicious root beer float. And I have to ask myself - why the HELL have I not had one in years?

Cheers, gentlemen.

Congratulations on the big five-o, blasters.

Here's to another fifty instalments of swears, farts, terrible English accents, and getting kicked off the internet. Also, more squabbling between Bill and the Mangler, please. That last bust up was funny as hell.

Okay. I wathced this film with the blast.

Now keep in mind that I wasn't listening to the dialogue and the dialogue may be the worst committed to film, however...

This film looked pretty decent. Okay, it may not be the CITIZEN KANE of superhero movies but it looked like campy fun. I would certainly watch it again before I watch GHOSTRIDER or DAREDEVIL or some other loud, souless modern superhero film.

Great blast though!
